THE PROJECT

A clearer way to find a Sky store

A responsive web tool for finding the nearest store, booking the right service, and joining the events Sky runs in its shops.

Sky Italia
Client

Sky Italia is the Italian branch of the Sky media group, with a network of physical stores for sales and support.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Problem

The old store finder was dated and awkward to use. It treated every store as a pin on a map and left no room for the events Sky was starting to host in its shops. The booking flow had also grown messy over time, with a long list of services that were often redundant or not available.

Activities

  • Ran a workshop with the client to gather requirements first hand
  • Handled research and UX, mapping the user journeys
  • Wireframed the new experience
  • Reviewed the existing booking tool to find where it fell apart
  • Built the UI kit, aligned with Sky's official design system
  • Prepared the handoff for development

Solution

We delivered a platform built around the task. People get to what they came for quickly, while the events keep their own space and visibility. I reworked the booking system and grouped the services into clearer clusters, cutting the ones that were redundant or not available so the choice finally makes sense. Each store now also shows the practical things people ask about, like parking and reviews.
